The genesis for "Christmas Yve" was Boris Karloff's narration of Dr. Seuss's "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." This is my favorite Christmas story. He demonstrates the power of the spoken word. I also wanted a Christmas narrative that acknowledged Christ Jesus as well as had a Kiwi protagonist.
About the Author
Stephen J. Groak is originally from the South, theDeep South--New Zealand, growing up in West Auckland. He currently lives in LosAngeles County with his wife and four daughters, and a menagerie of othercritters.
Stephen received his bachelor's degree in Englishfrom California State University, Los Angeles, and a master's degree in Creative Writing from Southern New HampshireUniversity.
In his free time, he loves to play backyard cricketwith his family and mates. His short stories have appeared in Tower Journal, Penmen Review, and Serving House Journal.

A Christmas Rhyme for ANY time!

A tale of Christmas so sweet and enchanting, you'll be hooked from the start---such passion and rhyming! Reminiscent of writings so clever, but whose? Not Tennyson, Not Kipling, Not Emerson, but SEUSS! So heed this advice--(you'll be happy you did!)--snuggle up on the couch and enjoy it with your kid!
